It's been an interesting week. My daughter Kamerin has given us a reason to get out the house. lol She plays in a softball league w/ 2 of her cousins and she loves it. I love that she enjoys it because I love the sport just as much as she does. I wish I had the opportunity while I were young to perfect my game! lol I literally had a moment when my daughter was getting in the catchers gear because that was my position back in high school. :) She looked so lost though. I'm glad they let the girls experience a lil' of every position. It's awesome! lol Well besides me getting all sentimental over my daughter literally living my dream (lmbo) she has had a great season so far. The coach (my cousin) and all the other parents that help the coach out have done a great job w/ preparing the girls for their future. Their stern, to the point, helpful & hard on the girls! :) That's good though! I wouldn't want it any other way! I'm actually the same way! Maybe even worse! lol It teaches them to toughen up their game & play harder! Foi is just like my dad! lol My dad was so competitive & if anything I know now that it was all because he loved us & supported us! Can you believe back in highschool when I played softball my dad had a few students that were in his class that played softball as well & made a bet w/ them. Lynwood Highschool was supposed to play my school & he bet his students that if we won & I hit a homerun that they would have to crawl into his classroom and kiss his feet! Best believe my dad won that bet! ROFL Sorry bout it girls! hahaha But the fondest memory of all was when my dad brought my grandma to my game. This is when she was living w/ us for just a lil' while. I hit a homerun this game & my dad must have jumped for joy. I mean he sprang out of the stands & nearly ran onto the field yelling "That's my baby! Gooooooooooo Leenna"! The instance I got in the dugout he pushed my poor grandma in her wheel chair over to me & I kissed & hugged her. She had tears of joy & said "I love you"! Which is why those 3 words are so important to me. Because they were the only words my grandma ever said to me! Gosh, I'm crying as I'm writting this! She's truly missed! I know she can see all her grand children today w/ what they have accomplished & is definitely smiling. Maybe crying because us Va'aulus are some crybabies! lmbo
Well to brighten up the mood I have my sis. in law visiting us. It's been great having her around. It gets a lil' lonely in the house which Lepa can attest to that because I show up at her door every day. I swear we make up the stupidest things to do just to get out the house...lmbo I'll need something small like tape & I'll call her & ask if she wants to head to dollar tree w/ me! For one thing! hahaha Of course we'll browse & shop as if we're buying tons of stuff. Now that I think of it I think we actually like shopping! ROFL You know how most woman (that are rich of course) say their shopaholics. Yeah well I can say were that but more like window shopaholics. We love to "ooh and ahhh", "that's major cheap" and "Wish I had a house to hang that" etc. lol Too funny! Well @least we haven't gone bankrupt yet! Oh wait I can't say the same for Lepa! hahahahaha JK sis. I know you'll stumble upon this blog and say "NO, she didn't". If it makes you feel better it wasn't your fault! Darn those inlaws of yours! hahahahaha
Well I've finished my chores of the day & I think I'll make me something to eat! Kids ate & I'm hungry now! lmbo
